With innovative talent development patterns, capable professors and teaching accomplishment, exceptional and leading international level academic research results, Guanghua marketing is at the forefront of domestic marketing research and teaching institutions. We focus on nurturing top academic and management talents who have basic knowledge of management, economics, statistics, and psychology, systematic marketing theories and methods, prowess in quantitative analysis, and international vision.

Guanghua marketing was established in 1995. We have a competent faculty consisting of 10 professors, 1 associate professors, and 2 assistant professors. All of them are doctoral candidate supervisor, and have experience in studying at and visiting prestigious overseas schools and are dedicated to research on consumer behavior, marketing models, market strategy, brand management, etc. Every faculty members has presided over high-level international or national research projects including international cooperation projects and those of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Social Science Fund of China, and so on, with academic articles published in the world’s top marketing magazines and many English core journals.

To create the best marketing graduate program with the broadest worldwide outlook in China, Guanghua Marketing conducts regular teaching experience exchanges and academic exchanges with well-known overseas schools to maintain its teaching and research at the international level. The core professional courses for graduate students are given completely in English and we regularly invite marketing professors from famous foreign schools including the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, Yale University, Wharton School, University of Chicago, Carnegie Mellon University, and the New York University for visits and giving lectures. We also organize regular academic seminars for doctoral students and invite professors and doctoral students from famous foreign universities to share their latest research. As an important measure to help doctoral students broaden their global vision and develop their capabilities, we use various means to fund remarkable doctoral students so that they can attend international academic conferences and go to worldwide first-class business schools for exchange and study. In recent years, our marketing doctoral students have had exchanges and studied in such overseas colleges and universities such as the Yale School of Management, Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University, Leonard N. Stern School of Business, and Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. Doctoral students who graduated from us are very welcomed and lauded by employers. Some of them have become high-level management talents with international competitiveness in government departments, multinational corporations, and state-owned large and medium-sized enterprises. And also some of them become faculty members in prestigious universities such as the Renmin University of China, Central University of Finance and Economics, and the University of International Business and Economics.

In recent years, a large number of excellent undergraduate students from national key universities have applied to further study in Guanghua marketing. We not only welcome students majoring in economics, management and marketing, but also those majoring in psychology, sociology, statistics, mathematics and English, etc.

While refining researching level and teaching skills, Guanghua marketing is also devoted to benefit Chinese marketing science as a discipline and makes efforts to build a high platform for the academic exchanges of domestic marketing scholars and doctoral students. We have worked with Tsinghua University to found the Journal ofMarketing Science, the first Chinese academic journal of marketing science and academic, hosted many sessions of the Marketing Scholar Forum and China Marketing Forum, co-hosted the marketing model elite class for five consecutive years with the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business and the Wharton School, which invites noted scholars of marketing model from overseas famous schools to deliver lectures to young Chinese scholars and doctoral students, and made an outstanding contribution to internationalizing domestic research and improving domestic marketing research.
