I was born and spent my childhood in Texas, USA. Even though I was engulfed into the American culture, my parents instilled into me the Chinese culture so I would not forget where I came from. I studied at University of Texas at Austin in the McCombs School of Business where I majored in Finance. After graduation, I worked in Austin, Texas for a short period in the accounting industry before enrolling at a premier business school in China named Guanghua, Peking.

I always had a passion for China and had a goal to work in China. I knew that a US education would not be enough to teach me the nuances of the Chinese market. I needed a MBA that was tailored to it, so the ideal next step for me was to get an MBA at Guanghua. With Guanghua’s deep alumni connection, I knew that it would open up many doors for me within the Chinese market.

Coming to a foreign country and trying to penetrate the work force in China is not an easy task. However, I strive to always challenge myself and to be outside of my comfort zone. Through the short time I have been at Peking, I can already tell that this was one of the best decisions in my life. The culture and atmosphere here motivates me to become the best I can be and to push myself pass my limits on a daily basis. I recommend this program to anyone who wants to enter the Chinese market or would like to get an education at the best school in China.
