Hello everyone, my name is Jan Hartmann, and I am 23 Year old, worked for EY & KPMG, i studied online at PKU since 2 months, is it worth it? - Classmates: Leaders across nations and industries, you have great names, great people and a great cohesion within the group. Local students invite you to hotpot and cheer for you to come to Beijing, the school broadcast not just the classes but the classmates broadcast the student life with all its funny incidents. - Teaching: despite corona and being thousands miles away you learn a lot. The speed it fast and the classes go beyond books and theories directly into the real life. I remember strong discussions in economics about the size for wedding rings and if you should eat up in the restaurant if you are full already, which were used by the teacher to teach advanced economic principles with ease and fun. - Infrastructure & Support: Great support from IT solutions, to the administrational parts of the program and even in the classes by the TA's. The communication is better without being there then in many universities and work places with constant contact. - Career: The CDC class, the alumni network and projects are breathtaking, you get direct incentives to plan and build you career and have the best network in reach to execute all your plans. The speakers and events that happen on a weekly basis, with leaders from many industries are unique chances to speak to and learn from CEOs from many industries. - In a nutshell, two month of this degree online were very exciting, funny and very educating. I can look everyone in the eyes and say: the program is worth the investment of time, even online!
