Hello, there! I am Doris, and I also go by my Chinese name Tingting. Born and raised in China, I immigrated to Canada with my family at 16. I completed my undergraduate study in Neuroscience at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. I spent the past 5 years working in the financial services industry in various roles such as sales, marketing, business technology, and project management. Through my years of work experience, I developed a strong interest in problem-solving and wanted to leverage an MBA program to help me with my career transition to consulting. 

The GMBA program at Guanghua was my top choice for a few reasons. First, I wanted a top business program in China so that I can leverage the school network to start a new career. Second, I wanted an MBA program curriculum covering main issues both in the west and in China so that I can gain a global understanding of the business world. Lastly, I also wanted a place where I can connect with other like-minded people and develop both personal and professional networks.

Although I have only been at the GMBA program for a few months, I am grateful for the experience I had so far. Even with the challenging situation of distance learning, I have learned so much from the professors and the class. The amazing community at Guanghuag has opened my eye and I am proud to say that I am a GMBAer at PKU.
