Yifei is a general partner at Little Green Bamboo, a deep technology and impact-focused venture fund that partners with non-profit and academic institutions to nurture founders from nonstandard backgrounds. He is also currently a volunteer policy advisor for the Office of Canada’s Deputy Prime Minister and Ministry of Finance. He previously helped raise over 50M USD at a boutique investment bank. Outside of work, he applies the golden-rule, by serving as a mentor at UCLA, UWashington, Georgia Tech, and UBC, and starting a mental health initiative for vulnerable students. He holds an economics degree from UCLA, and studied liberal studies. Based in Canada, through the program, he hopes to join a driven, impactful, global community to empower social change and awareness through impact-investing and advisory.
