On July 2nd, MBA office at Peking University’s Guanghua School of Management held a virtual graduation party for Global MBA program Class of 2020 (20G).

On this special day, Prof. Qiao LiuDean of the Guanghua School of Management at Peking University)、Prof. Longkai ZhaoDirector of MBA Program)、Prof. Tingru Jiang (Executive Director of GMBA program) Prof. Denis MorissetProf. Fei RenProf. Qiaowei ShenProf. Tim Cullenclass teacher Ms. Xin SuMs. Jing Li and Ms. Mei Liang from Career Development Center and staff from MBA program office joined the party in congratulating students and sending their best wishes.

Two years ago, as the very first class mixed with both international and domestic students, 73 students from 17 different countries and regions gathered at PKU as 20G and started their MBA journey. Over the past 2 years, many of them overcame difficulties and the pandemic circumstances to take courses online, demonstrating huge commitment to the studies and class, abilities to being flexible and adaptable, and great passion for the program. Through a lot of events organized spontaneously, such as the one-on-one coffee chat, online class meetings, career development discussion sessions, and class song composition, Class of 2020 has become an incredibly strong and close group regardless of where they are from and where they are located at. As a result, they were honored the award of “Excellent Class of Beijing” and has been exceptional representatives of the Guanghua community.

In Dean LIU’s message to students, he extended a sincere congratulations and best of luck to 20G. He acknowledged what they have accomplished in the past two years and expressed great confidence in their future endeavors. He encouraged all the graduates to continue exploring the world and fixing the world’s problems with broader views and the knowledge they have acquired from the MBA studies. Prof.Jack Ting-Ju Chiang, Executive Director of GMBA program, also congratulated all the students and especially praised their teamwork spirits and consistent contributions to the program under the pandemic situations.

Students representative Xue Hng spoke on behalf of the graduates and expressed his deepest gratitude to Guanghua for the past two years. He thanked all the professors for their teaching, all the teachers at the MBA office for the tireless and kind support and all his fellow classmates for creating a warm and healthy environment for international students. He was grateful for the opportunity to experience and learn more about China and looked forward to the future as a proud Guanghua MBA alumni.
